Cachaça (pronounced kah-sha-sa) is a Brazilian spirit distilled from the juice of recently-cut sugar cane.

It is the world’s third highest-selling alcoholic drink, with 1.3 billion liters produced each year. Among Brazil’s 4,000 brands of cachaça, Pitú is the second-highest selling and most-exported brand, present in more than 50 countries.

<p>Pitú cachaça is made by distilling the juice from sugar cane in copper distillation columns, a process that contributes to the product’s fruity, floral aromas. Following distillation, Pitú’s blending process is overseen by the Master Distiller, guaranteeing the same unique aromas and flavors in the finished product. Following blending, the cachaça rests in balsam wood casks, a final touch to assure the smoothness of each and every bottle of Pitú.</p>
